On November 8, 2024, the launch meeting for the process package design of the 100,000 tons/year PMMA Plant under Nanjing Chengzhi Clean Energy Co., Ltd. was held at ZONEPIC. The event was attended by Sun Hongping, Assistant General Manager of Nanjing Chengzhi, Lei Weiwei, Deputy Chief Engineer of Nanjing Chengzhi; Feng Lianfang, professor of Zhejiang University, Gu Xueping, associate researcher of Zhejiang University, Jiang Mingzhe, distinguished researcher of Zhejiang University Quzhou Research Institute; Xue Kuanrong, President of Ruizhi Group and General Manager of ZONEPIC, Zou Qiang, Deputy General Manager of ZONEPIC, as well as the core project teams of the above offices.

The Nanjing Chengzhi High-End Optical New Material Project was officially launched on October 28, 2024. Its primary construction of a PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate) plant is scheduled to be completed and put into production in 2027. The completion of this plant will help Chengzhi Shareholding Co., Ltd. upgrade from being a comprehensive operator of basic chemical raw materials to a manufacturer of high-end new material products.

The optical-grade PMMA resin process technology co-developed by Zhejiang University Quzhou Research Institute and ZONEPIC is characterized by advanced technical features and advantages such as high product purity, good optical properties, low emissions, and low energy and material consumption, winning the praise of many customers.
